Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens (Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror) (1922)

A landmark silent-era German horror film directed by F. W. Murnau, based on Bram Stoker's Dracula. The film was not authorised by Stoker's estate and, despite character names and other details being changed, it was found to be in breach of copyright. Although the court ordered all copies of the film to be destroyed, some survived. It is recognised as a cult classic, and masterpiece of cinema and horror.

ARTIST:
Matt Timson is a UK-based illustrator, living and working in Leicestershire. Although having a background in editorial illustration and caricature, he has flip-flopped between book illustration and comics for the last several years, with most projects slowly but surely gravitating towards horror. His work is predominantly digital and he has recently completed ‘Self Storage,’ a particularly gruesome zombie comic series, for 451 Media. Previous notable clients have included Self Made Hero, HarperCollins and The Wall Street Journal.
