Night of the Living Dead (1968)

American independent zombie horror film directed, photographed, and edited by George A. Romero, written by Romero and John Russo, and starring Duane Jones and Judith O'Dea. The story follows seven people trapped in a farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania, under assault by flesh-eating reanimated corpses. Although the monsters that appear in the film are referred to as 'ghouls', they are credited with popularising the modern portrayal of zombies in popular culture.

David Cousens is a cartoonist, illustrator, author, and storyteller, who has had a successful illustration career for 15 years working for clients like Adobe, Apple, BOOM! Studios, Dynamite Entertainment, Nickelodeon and the BBC, and has spent the last few years following his true love of creating comics. David is both a cover and interior artist for a number of comics including 'Hello Darkness','The Terminator' and 'Silverhawks'. He is the co-creator of 'Chances Are, 'Dry' and 'Gemini', and is also working on his creator-owned comics.
